Best Turkey Burgers

I discovered this burger recipe in a fitness magazine last summer and I am in love.  They are low cal (128 calories), high in protein (about 28 grams), very low in fat (1 gram) and they make a great snack or meal.  Be sure to use the extra lean ground turkey.  I also discovered last summer that regular lean ground turkey has NINE grams of fat in a 4 oz. serving whereas extra lean ground turkey has only ONE gram of fat.  It's a huge difference and I did not find a flavor sacrifice.

20 oz extra lean ground turkey
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/3 cup bread crumbs
3 Tbls. Boar's Head Mustard (nice and spicy)
1 egg
salt & pepper
4 oz. chopped carrots (optional)

Mix it all up and either grill them or fry in a bit of olive oil and cooking spray in a non stick frying pan.  Serve warm or cold with Tomato Corn Salsa.  Makes 6-7 burgers.
